A graduate of the Photography and Fine Art Degree programmes of Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art Design and Technology. Michael’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in National and International spaces including Gallery of Photography Dublin, National Portrait Gallery London and City Hall Saint Johns, Newfoundland. He has produced commissioned works for the EU Council of Ministers’ Brussels, the European Central Bank Frankfurt, Dun laoghaire Rathdown County Council and Waterford Healing Arts Trust among other national institutions. Michael’s work has been published as books and catalogues and his work is held in private and public collections in Ireland, Europe, and America including The National Photographic Archive Ireland, Central Bank of Ireland, Musee Niece France, St. John’s Municipal Collection Newfoundland and MoMA New York (artist book archive). Michael has over fifteen years experience lecturing in the photographic field between NCAD, IADT, DIT, WIT and Griffith College.1
