Temple Bar-based resource centre Filmbase opened in 1987.
Filmbase, which offered training, information and advice to emerging film makers announced on 15th May 2018 it was going into voluntary liquidation.
The not-for-profit organisation was in business for 32 years.
In a statement posted online, Filmbase said it has been fighting for years against difficult financial circumstances and that debts reached a point at which it is unrealistic to continue operations. 1
