- The Transcendence of Innocent Objects (Ongoing)
Remembering the past always comes with a view attached. ‘The Transcendence of Innocent Objects’ examines this notion through humankind’s continual forging of polymorphous stories. Exploring the remote Gaeltacht region of Gleann Cholm Cille, south-west Donegal, this ever- changing environment is the resting place of 6,000-year-old pagan monuments and everyday cultural artefacts dating from the 18th century. This collection of images provides a lyrically woven narrative to accompany those already embedded in the landscape. The images which look to the present, engage with traces of the past, reminding us that we are all just passing through.
