Siún Nic Suibhne is a Dublin based visual artist working in interdisciplinary media, with a particular focus on video, photography, paint and drawing. Her work is primarily focused on using defamiliarization as a means of exploring our perceptions of our surroundings. Through considerations of materiality and temporality she explores concepts of space, memory, and trace – which result in abstracted scenes and images of spaces that were once familiar. 1
