BEARA is a beautifully produced study of the magnificent landscape of the Beara Peninsula in South West Ireland. This book is the culmination of a two-year project during which I revisited a familiar landscape to create new images and to look a little closer at what’s behind my 26-year love affair with this small part of the world. ¹

Norman McCloskey is a professional photographer based in Kenmare, Co. Kerry his passion for photographing the landscape here began in 1992. Studying photography at IADT and after graduating in 1995 he has worked as an assistant in commercial photography and occasionally as a freelance photographer. ²
