Ok Ok is a photo book by photographer Myles Shelly. The series was shot over the summer of 2020, during the height of the pandemic lockdown. Unable to travel more than 5km from his house, Myles walked and cycled around the surrounding neighbourhoods of Dublin 8. The images he captured reveal a city emptied of people, traffic and normal city life. Shot just after sunset when the light takes on a strange and surreal quality, the images are imbued with the sense of uncertainty that characterised the time.
About the Artist
Born in Waterford in 1983 and currently based in Dublin. He studied photography at the Belfast School of Art and fine art at the Limerick School of Art and Design. He shoots personal projects and a diverse range of commissions in portraiture, lifestyle, architecture and video.
