Anne is a Senior Lecture in Visual Culture (Photography) at Middlesex University. Following a BA in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, she worked for several years in the field of international human rights lobbying, before taking up post-graduate study in Photography. Her practice based PhD focused on the performative role of photography in ethnographic studies of the Aran Islands, Co. Galway.1
