Dianne Whyte is a photographic artist from Dublin. After taking a one years city and guilds course in photography in 2003 she went on to achieve a first class honours degree in photography from IADT in 2007. She has recently completed a masters from The University of Ulster, (MFA photography) where she received a distinction. Her recent work is about the treatment of space as a complex, psychological terrain. It uses the functional apparatus of theatrical staging as a metaphor for the manipulation of reality by social and perceptual forces which are ordinarily concealed from our awareness.
